Photo Friday - Disastrous

In 2004, Hurricane Ivan blew through Pensacola Florida. As you can see in the photo, the destruction at the marina where I had my boat berthed was, to say the least, DISASTROUS. Boats were stacked on each other three deep, and the docks were destroyed. It took me a week to find my boat, a 1986 Hunter 23, it was a total loss. It's over three years since Ivan now, and the marina has been re-built, I have new boat, a 1984 O'day 26. I also have a trailer and won't make the same mistake twice. I will haul the boat if it looks like another big storm is headed our way.
