Photo Friday - Geometry

In the gate area at San Diego International Airport is an interesting piece of art, I guess that's what you would call it. The sun, the 360 degree circular form, angular supports and the lines and shapes created by the shadows present an ever changing geometric pattern.

17th St Bridge, Pensacola FL

This bridge, known as the "Graffiti Bridge," is a local landmark. For a static structure, it's pretty dynamic. The grafatti changes on a daily basis. The city used to try to discourage the graffiti artists, but it got to be too big a job and the cops would just be wasting their time. They do have better things to do than arrest kids for painting on what has turned out to be a community canvas!
