A thunderstrom blew through tonight and provided some pretty interesting cloud bottom formations. I can remember some fun times with my children, when they were growing up, trying to pick out the animal shapes in the clouds. I'm sure I'm not the only dad who has played that game. Well, the storm dumped quite a bit of rain, a much need commodity here in Northwest Florida. In about 20 - 30 minutes the level of pool water rose about an inch. It figures, I had been adding water to the pool for about 15 minutes when the skies opened.

Here a few of the more interesting shots.

Pink Day Lilly

On a whim, I decided to post this after seeing one similar (different color) on another blog. The site, "pandhandlin" is worth looking at. The owner puts up some realy nice photos, especially his timed night exposures.
